Lord! I really need to find myself a job! I havent done anything besides school, ever since I moved down to La and my savings are diminishing with a quickness! The couple of months prior, my head would just be focused on school and now that my summer is here, I just dont like the feeling of doing NOTHING...

..I started my job search yesterday from everything like working at insurance companies, banks, and makeup counters. Although, my major is in Communications and I know that I should find something part time that is related to that field, so that I can start building my skills...but my heart just still pulls me in the more fun and creative direction like doing makeup!..
Anyways, I hope I find a job soon, and one that I like because it sucks not to be making any money of your own. On Friday, I made a little Korean feast for Kenric and myself. I love everything Korean from the actors/actresses, skin care lines, makeup, and food! Korean food is the best! It is such a nice comfort food for the soul! MmmmMmm...I really need to stop thinking about food, because I have gained so much weight..And yesterday I had the worst nightmare ever..In my dream I just couldnt stop eating! It was like plates of steak, after steak and hella sweets..Thank god, it was just a dream because I woke up terrified that I actually did eat that much..=(..
*Sorry guys, I can be organized but not that very detailed when it comes to certain things that take up alot of time..So I didnt take step by step pictures or listed down what I exactly did in my preparations...I learned to make these dishes, by the good graces of Youtube =)..So go on there and check for recipe how to's and bless those people for having so much time and dedication to go through step by step procedures just to show us people who want to learn, Whasssup....
*Ingrediants for my Soondubu Jjigae (Soft Tofu Stew)
-Kelp
-Dried Anchovies
-Seafood Mix
-Green Onion
-3 Shitake Mushrooms
-Korean Red Pepper Flakes
-1 medium brown onion
-2 long sized tofu
-kim chee (optional)
-small slices of beef (optional)
*Making my broth..

*This was so good! Next time I will buy a bigger claypot to hold all the stew in..I just bought 2 small ones, so they ended up over-flowing big time onto the stove that I had just scrubbed and cleaned in the morning =(.
*Ingrediants for my Kimchi Bokkeumbop Fried Rice
-1 Cup of chopped Kimchi
-1TBL of red pepper paste
-Half a bag of frozen vegetables
-1/2lb of Sliced beef
-2 eggs
-Roasted sesame seaweed for garnish (optional)
*We've had this sitting in the pantry for months..so I finally wanted to try them out..and they are soOo good! You can have them for breakfast, but I chose this as my dessert..
*The filling was just a mixture of cinnamon and nutmeg I think..It just made the pancakes really sweet inside..
*After sitting for 30min, it rises like so..

*What a yummy treat!
Saturday, we went to our favorite Korean Spa in Korea-town. I just love it when they shampoo my hair, makes me feel like a baby again

..We later went to go eat at Orochon Ramen in Little Toyko. They are famous for thier really spicy ramen, and the guy from "Man vs. Food" did a featured segment on them there. They have thier Special #1 and Special #2..If you finish there Special #1 in like 45 min, then you get ur picture on the wall..The restaurant itself is pretty small, but there is no more then a handful of pictures of people who have passed the challenge of finishing off all that bowl of spicyness. They have a regular rating scale of 1-7 with 7 being the most mild. I chose 2 and after finishing that bowl, I really think that I can take on that Special #1 challenge! Kenric had like a 5 since he can not handle anything spicy whatsoever, but he said that next time he can probably go for a 4.

@babeluixG - LOLs! I think that saying describes me just right..=)..aww..I would totally love to meet u! I can sometimes be anti-social, just because Im really shy and sometimes feel that I am awkward with meeting new ppl, but from what I can tell, I love ur personality! Saturday, I will be in San Diego for a friend's bday =(..
The Wilshire Spa is the one I just recently went to and is actually me and my boyfriend's favorite at the moment..If u go to the Wilshire Spa, just around the corner within walking distance you can check out "Ham Ji Park"...I did an entry on them in my previous blogs.. They have the best pork bone stew ever! *Drools*I wanted to try everything on thier menu, but thier portions are really huge, so me and my bf only got like 3 items which lasted us for 2days.. American Food: you should try Maestro's Steak House, really bomb ass steaks and thier lobster mashed potatoes is to die for..Chinese food: Din Tai Fung in Arcadia for some really famous dumplings and Duck House in Montery Park..Ive gained so much weight since I moved down to La from the bay area, just because every weekend I want to go eat at some place new =(..Im sure you will have a blast in Cali, the sun is finally coming out =)
@babeluixG - ps...Zankou chicken is practically everywhere in Los Angeles and they have a few in the OC..but you should really try it out..really good Middle Eastern chicken, that you dip with hummus and by far beats El Pollo Loco..
